How much does it cost to become a USAVE member?

There is no initial fee for Members who sign up in 2010. Beginning January 1, 2011, there will be a one-time sign-up fee of $299.

Is there a monthly cost as a Member?

There is no monthly cost in 2010. Beginning July 1, 2011, there will be a minimum monthly fee of $99 for all new Members. The minimum monthly fee is waived if the monthly reservations fees are greater.

How much is the reservations fee?

For a confirmed reservation, the transaction fee is only $10.00.

How long of a term is the membership agreement?

Agreements are month-to-month through 2010. Beginning January 1, 2011, our standard agreement with a period of twelve months will be instituted in order to lock-in the calendar year reservations fee.

What are the requirements for becoming a member of the USAVE network?

Is there a protected territory, and how much of the area is protected?

Yes, and the protected territory is from 2-5 mile radius. standard requirements for territory size.

How many facilities will be allowed to operate in a protected territory?

Multiple locations under one ownership is not a problem.

Will I have to put up a USAVE sign or any other USAVE insignia on my property?

No, this is not necessary.

Do we use USAVE's merchant services?

This is your option. You may use your merchant or USAVE's.

Can I use the USAVE logo on my own website?

Yes, if approved by USAVE management.

How long will it take for my facility to be listed and fully operational on USAVE?

If using one the Property Management Systems (see Partners), the implementation is fast and simple. There is no training.. If not using a storage management system, we estimate the time to be 5 - 7 business days for loading data and system training.
