Is a reservation necessary?
It is recommended. We provide you with a simple three-easy-click reservations process to view the best rates and receive an instant confirmation number. Availability changes on a daily basis.

What does storage cost?
The cost of storage depends on the size of the space you need. Our reservations system will display all pricing and availability in real-time, thus helping you to determine the correct size within your budget.

Do I get discount if I rent for a longer period?
Many facilities advertise specials while others provide an additional discount for accounts that pay for additional months in advance. Our reservations system will provide you with the best pricing.

Is insurance required?
Yes it is. Many facilities offer insurance products on their stored items. You may carry your own insurance (check your homeowner's or renter's policy) or simply apply for coverage from a company that specializes in self-storage insurance. Ultimately, insurance is the tenant's responsibility.

Do you provide a lock or key?
You can purchase a new lock at most of our facilities. We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks to ensure the highest level of security. You are responsible for your own lock. However, you may find some facilities offering a move-in special where a lock and/or key are provided at no charge.
Note: You may purchase a high quality lock at most facilities.

Can I have my rent payment automatically charged to my credit card each month?
Yes. However, you will need to visit the facility and sign the lease agreement for your unit, and make the initial payment. At that time, we can set up your account to automatically charge your credit card the 1st day of each month.

What type of payment do you accept?
Most facilities accept cash, check, debit card, Visa and MasterCard as well as Discover and American Express.

What are the hours of operation?
All facilities are open at different hours. Hours of operation are shown in the reservations process for the facility in your area.

What is the minimum time that I can store for my items?
The minimum rental period is one month with an automatic renewal on the 1st day of each calendar month.

What kind of documentation do I need to present?
A valid driver's license or federal ID with picture is required to lease a unit.

Do you have your own movers?
Most facilities do not offer moving services. However, all facilities will assist you in locating a moving service in your area.

How long will it take to complete my rental?
The entire move-in process should take less than 15 minutes. Please keep in mind that this time could vary depending on the weather or if other customers arrived prior to you. Mornings are usually the slowest period of the day.

Can we buy boxes and other moving supplies?
Yes. All facilities offer a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies.

What is climate control?
This is temperature-controlled space; usually units maintain a temperature of 55 to 75 degrees. This feature helps protect your stored items from high humidity and extreme temperatures.

What is a roll-up door?
Accessible by sliding a latch and lifting a door upward, a roll-up door allows you to maximize the usage of your space.

What is a drive-up unit?
An outside unit that is always located on the first floor of a facility that offers you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
An outdoor unit has access from outside. An indoor unit is within the property and will require you to go inside to access your unit.
